Returns, plainly put.

   Write first. Send your order number and the catalogue numbers of the pieces to support@dtstudiosupply.com. Our answer carries a return authorization and the address to post to. Nothing should go in the post until you have it.

   Wrap it. Each piece goes back in its own packaging, and the lot goes in a strong outer box with a slip showing the order number and the return authorization.

   Post it. Use any carrier and service you like to reach the address in our email. The postage is yours to pay. Hold on to the receipt and any tracking number until the refund has come through.

   Receive the refund. It is made to the original payment method, 5 business days at most after the parcel reaches our warehouse.

A piece may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Day one is the day the carrier hands the parcel over at your address.

You may return a piece within 30 days of delivery if it is unused and in the original packaging. Before you post it, ask us at support@dtstudiosupply.com for a return authorization and the address to use. The postage to send it back is yours to pay. The refund is made to the original payment method within 5 business days of the parcel reaching our warehouse.

We accept a return only when the piece is unused and in the original packaging. Unused means no paint squeezed out, no sheet drawn on and nothing cut or marked. Original packaging means its box, tin, wrap or sleeve, with everything that was packed with it.

For example, these cannot come back to us:

• A brush, palette knife or glue gun that has been used
• A paint tube or watercolor pan that has been opened
• A sketch pad or watercolor pad with sheets drawn on or torn out
• A canvas or panel that has been painted on or trimmed
• A cutting mat with cut marks, or tape that has been unrolled

A kit counts as one item for returns: the whole kit comes back together, each piece unused and still in its packaging.

That covers the Painter's Starter Kit and the Sketch Kit. Single pieces taken out of a kit are not accepted back, and a kit is never refunded in part.

For every piece that comes back, we refund the amount you paid for it, to the original payment method, within 5 business days of the parcel reaching our warehouse.

Your order went out by free standard shipping, so no delivery charge was paid and none is refunded. Postage for the return stays with you.

After we send it, your card issuer decides how soon the refund appears on your statement.

We treat that as a delivery fault, not a return. Write to support@dtstudiosupply.com with the order number and, if something is damaged, a photo of the parcel and the piece. The shipping policy lists what we need.
